Denver Dream Center
#DDC
I love giving back to the community when I can and recently partnered with the Denver Dream Center over the summer. I look forward to more events where I can donate my time and photographs.
DENVER DREAM CENTER'S MISSION:
To reconnect people who have isolated by poverty, substance abuse, gangs, imprisonment, homelessness, abuse & neglect to God and to a community of support to meet their physical and spiritual needs, and to help them develop a support system that will encourage them to make positive, long-term, God-honoring changes in their lives.

Adopt-a-BlockThe Adopt-a-Block program is an outreach that demonstrates God's unconditional love to the Denver community through practical acts of service. These acts of service range from lawn care and home repair to delivering toys for Christmas and playing games in the neighborhood with children.
Adopt-a-Block is more than an event; it is an active pursuit of claiming the community for Christ! The largest part of the ministry takes place on Saturday mornings (1st & 3rd Saturday of each month) when Christians gather, bringing the necessary supplies to meet the needs on the blocks, which have literally been adopted. #DDC 3rd Thursday Service
|
Next one is February 16, 2017!The Denver Dream Center launched their first 3rd Thursday Night Worship Service on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the beautiful Elevate Denver church near downtown Denver. Community churches donated their vans who brought in men from community corrections, Salvation Army rehab, families from Adopt-a-Block sites and 3 Denver Housing Projects, volunteers and friends from churches! We had an amazing praise team! People in the community walking by even joined the service to worship and hear from God.
If you missed it, the next one is Thursday, February 16th! |
